How We Find the Right Helper,
The Right Way

From your first chat to your helper’s first day, we guide every step with care, clarity, and genuine support.

If you don't want to bicker about refund, you will have to accept what the helper can do or cannot do. Everything is based on the helper's capability and willingness.

Call an Agency

“Hi, I need a maid ASAP!” That's usually how it takes.

Say What You Want

“Must be good with kids, cook well, clean fast.”

Get Whoever’s Available

The agency send over a maid, with no proper matching.

Quality up to luck

If it’s bad, return to the agency and bicker about refund.

The Typical Maid Hiring Experience

The Heng Suay Approach

This is how maid hiring usually goes- a quick call, a random profile, then finger crossed

Common Struggles

Why Finding the Right Maid Feels So Difficult

It’s not just about whether she can cook or clean, it’s about whether she fits into your home.

04

Families with Elderly Loved Ones

“Chores can be taught, but patience and genuine respect for the elderly must come from within”

When we’re born, our parents care for us—changing our diapers, feeding us, and helping us bathe. But when they grow old, not everyone is willing or able to care for them in return.

Caring for the elderly isn’t always easy. It takes patience, compassion, and deep respect for their dignity and the life they’ve lived. But it’s matters — they need support with their diet, safety, and daily companionship, and most of all, to feel genuinely cared for.

Challenges:

Lack of qualified candidates for eldercare

Lack of proper training in tasks like changing adult diapers, leading to mismatched expectation

Key traits like patience and empathy are hard to assess in an interview

Fear of abuse or mistreatment creates mutual distrust

Conflicts often arise as a result of cognitive decline

03

Families with Young Children

“ Your helper will be part of your child’s everyday life so let’s make sure it’s a good one.“

When young kids are involved, finding the right helper is even more critical and more difficult. Parents need someone they can trust, rely on, and work well with every day.

Challenges:

Concerns about safety, privacy, and supervision

Misaligned expectations regarding household chores, meal preparation, and child care

Hard to find a proactive helper who’s good with kids.

Frustration over helpers breaking contracts

High turnover - helpers quit or are dismissed early

02

Experienced Employers

“ Everyone wants the perfect helper but few are taught how to be the right employer. “

Experienced employers often carry the weight of past hiring frustrations, including mismatched hires, broken trust, and unmet expectations. These disappointments can lead to lowered hopes and a tiring hiring cycle.

Challenges:

Mismatched placements due to inadequate screening

Many feel worn out and lower their expectations

Costly replacements with little to no refund

Frustration over helpers breaking contracts

High turnover - helpers quit or are dismissed early

01

For First-Time Employers

“If good help is hard to find, being a good employer is even harder — that’s why we bridge the gap“

First-time employers often struggle to build a good relationship with their helper. Some believe that being strict or fierce will help avoid problems, but this often creates a tense environment. The helper may end up inefficient due to fear, stress, or a constant worry about disappointing their employer.

Others try being very kind, but that can lead to different issues. Some helpers may take advantage of the kindness, perform poorly, or even manipulate the employer.

Challenges:

Unsure how to choose the right agency

Surprised by hidden costs - maid levy, insurance, etc.

Lack understanding of MOM’s regulations

Struggle to evaluate maid profiles and interview responses

Expect maids to perform well immediately

What Makes Our Matching Process Different?

Every home is different and your needs deserve more than a rush conversation.

To truly understand your household, we use a detailed ‘Needs Assessment Questionnaire’ covering your daily routines, preferences, logistic, and family needs. This helps us match you with someone who genuinely fits your lifestyle — and ensures that both you and the helper are aligned on the job scope from day one.

How It Works

A Better Way to Find the Right Maid

At Trust Manpower, we believe every family deserves a maid who truly fits — not just someone available. That’s why we follow a thoughtful, step-by-step process to make sure each match is right from the start.

We Get to Know You

We begin every match with a personal conversation, supported by our questionnaires.

This helps us learn about your daily routines, household dynamics, preferences, and values.
By learning what truly matters to your home, we can recommend a helper who fits seamlessly into your lifestyle and offers stable, long-term support.

02

Match & Interview

Not everyone has experience with interviewing and that’s perfectly okay. We’ll provide you with some guiding questions so you don’t miss anything important.

Once the helper is shortlisted, you’ll meet her in a virtual, guided interview. We’ll be there to help moderate the conversation, so both sides can communicate openly and set clear expectations from the start.

Personalized Timetable & Routine

Once your helper is confirmed, we will create a personalized timetable and routine tailored to your home’s needs. This way, everyone knows what to expect and stays on the same page from the start.

To keep things running smoothly, we will also implement a point system to track daily tasks and make sure nothing gets missed. Our aim is to make day-to-day life easier for you and your helper.
